I've had a few requests for professional quality photos recently. And since, unlike previous requests, these weren't from anonymous men on the internet swearing I could become the next top model (and by the way, did I have a webcam!?), I thought I'd have some real photos taken. By real photos, I mean not something snapped with a cell phone, which is what makes up my current photo collection.
So today I treated myself to a makeover and a professional photo shoot. Merry Christmas to me.
It was a little disconcerting to see myself with a full face of makeup. I usually just wear a bit of lipstick. But it was fun.

I'm toying with the idea of having professional pics done of me in my wedding dress (we had a friend do our pics instead - biggest regret ever!) I think seeing how stunning yours are has sealed the deal for me!
Oh Fi, it's worth it for wedding photos. Those are something that will be passed down for generations!

ReplyDeleteI haven't done photo shoots with a pro, but I do have what is becoming an annual deal with a dear friend of mine: we get all glammed up, meet for breakfast, and then go to a park somewhere and take turns shooting each other. With cameras, of course, not guns. Maybe if it were other people, but I happen to LIKE her. :P
And it really does make one feel kinda special, doesn't it???

Did I mention - don't worry about the visa thing I will marry you before we go back to Oz. I just have to swing this by Cate but I am sure she when she sees your pic she will be sweet with the idea (Oz slang).

What beautiful photo's i think everyone should have a photo shoot at least once in a life time, so that you can see what you look like when a professional takes a photo of you, can't wait to see it on the cover of a book, and I can say I knew Kristen when.............

I asked the make-up artist if she would stow away in my suitcase and she said no. So I'm just going to have the photographer Photoshop my actual face before I leave. Coolness.
